We at SCFOM don’t often rail against a whole state. Or at least we haven’t yet. Today is different, based on this article in the New York Times and this passage in it:
Elizabeth Daugherty, a 43-year-old Republican, did not vote for Mr. Obama. But after he won the election, Ms. Daugherty was ready to support him. Then she turned against him again, even before he took office.
“I was completely on board, and he was my president,” said Ms. Daugherty, a homemaker from nearby Pendleton. “His cabinet choice was sort of Tammany Hall-Chicago style. He had spoken about transparency and change and hope, but then he’s filling his cabinet with his old cronies.”
As people fully acquainted with Indiana, its environs and people (and we really hope that last link is a gag), and with a solid historical understanding of Tammany politics, we can say heartily: Elizabeth Daugherty, you’re an idiot. You’re so stupid, you don’t even know you’re stupid.
If this guy and this guy (staffers and — yes, cronies — picked randomly from a hat), do anything resembling what these two criminal shysters did, then you can gripe about them all the live-long day. Until then, keep your mouth shut. We know 100 days is plenty of time to assess a president’s job and administration, but it’s even greater that you did it in negative days, further proving that instant gratification is the true American ideal (sarcasm).
Whether you like it or not, Barack Obama is your president, just like Bush was your president. And Clinton. And Bush. And Reagan. Etc. THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS NOT YOUR PRESIDENT.

naaaa, I am doing just as you dim-a-crits did with Bush..you refused to support him and fought everything he tried to do. And Bush was not trying to turn the republic into a socialist (if not communist) third world country as YOUR president is trying to do. Not only will I not support Obama, who is trying to be an emperor of kool ade drinkers, I will do my best to defeat him and his ‘big’ government politics.
