Sometimes you say things based on anecdotal evidence and people look at you like you’re an asshole. Then the New York Times does a piece on the same subject, and people still look at you like you’re an asshole.

Look, we’re not suggesting that this shit-treating goes on at every office, but it definitely goes on at more than one TV newsroom. And in producers’ offices way above the newsroom. And the studio. We can only speak for the TV news industry. And the film industry. And retail. Whatever.
