Some Country for Old Men

If you missed the big GOP fundraiser Monday, you didn’t miss much. Sure the GOP raised a little more than $14 million dollars for House and Senate election campaigns, but to the GOP $14 million is barely enough to heat John McCain’s 62 houses.

Speaking of John McCain, he had a nice reunion with his former running mate, white-trash Alaska governor Sarah Palin. Yay! Will-she-or-won’t-she-show attend the fundraiser nonsense aside (refresher: “scheduling problems” were to blame, if scheduling problems = the GOP not wanting her to open her fat mouth in public), McCain seemed happy to see her. Yes, everyone made nice despite the fact that he’s still sort of seething underneath about her losing him the election.

Walnuts even made a tweet about the meeting!

We know what you’re thinking: 1) How does John McCain know what Twitter is, let alone a computer? 2) How can he tweet? That requires using your thumbs, and John McCain hasn’t evolved to the point of having opposable thumbs. Plus he can barely control his arms! How the hell is he going to tweet, we ask you?
