Oh Fundies! Yer so crazy!
So the big what-to-do in Cincinnati right now is over the billboard we posted on the left. The United Coalition of Reason, which funded said billboard, was contacted on Thursday by the advertising company responsible for its placement. The news: they were taking down the billboard. Why? Because Christians were so mad about the message that they were threatening to murder and maim people.
Lamar [the advertising agency] reported that the landowner of the site had been threatened over the billboard’s message and wanted it taken down.
“We weren’t given the landowner’s identity or precise details,” reported Fred Edwords, national director of the United Coalition of Reason. “Nor did we pursue them. It was sufficient to learn that multiple, significant threats had been received and that Lamar would act quickly to alleviate the problem. Lamar was most apologetic to us regarding the situation. It was a development they hadn’t expected. Nor had we. Nothing like this has ever happened to us before.”
Of course, this all makes sense if you think about it. WWJD? He’d probably murder everyone who disagreed with him.

To be fair, nothing in the article or the information we have states that it was Christians making the threats that ultimately led to the sign’s being taken down. It could have been Muslims, Jehovah’s Witnesses, or any other theist.
That’s a fair point, although I’d bet that in Cincinnati, it was Christians.
