From the rock stars who gave us “Mark Sanford (D),” “Mark Foley (D),” and an analysis of Olympic Games that haven’t even happened yet, we got quite an inside look at the 2012 GOP primary on Monday. Yes, Fox News is at it again. We’ve always known that they struggle with basic facts, but now they can’t even handle simple math.
The tragic thing about this graph is that we understand what they were trying to do, but it just didn’t work. Seriously, is it really possible that 70 percent of 193 percent of Republicans are backing Sarah Palin? Does that make sense?
The lesson: not every bit of information can be squeezed onto a pie graph.

“The tragic thing about this graph is that we understand what they were trying to do, but it just didn’t work.”
what were they trying to do?
Seems to me that the numbers were based on a series of questions: “Would you back Sarah Palin?” and “Would you back Mittens Romney?” rather than “Who’s your first choice?”
The point, though, is that something that “complex” can’t go on a pie chart — hence USA Today’s exclusive use of pie charts.
i hope someone got a sharp reprimand for this…
wow, Id back em all to get rid of obama
Pretty sure the Constitution doesn’t allow for three retarded co-presidents. Sorry.
