Aw shit, man! Our on-again-off-again love-hate relationship with Rep. Alan Grayson (D-id you really say that, you bad ass!?) is freakin’ ON AGAIN! As you may know, evil former-Vice President Dick Cheney emerged from his lair last weekend just long enough to call Barack Obama a terrorist sympathizer before slithering back underground where he proceeded to suck the life out of babies and nosh on puppies.
Most Democrats offered their typical response to such an outlandish statement: they did and said nothing. But not Alan Grayson, no sir!
From CNN’s Political Ticker:
Outspoken Rep. Alan Grayson has a message for blunt-speaking former Vice President Dick Cheney: stop talking.
Responding to the former VP’s criticism of President Obama’s national security policy, including his decision to try accused 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in civilian court, the Florida Democrat lapsed into Web-speak.
“You know, on the internet there’s an acronym that’s used to apply to situations like this. It’s called ‘STFU,’” Grayson said on MNBC’s Hardball. “I don’t think I can say that on the air, but I think you know what that means.” The letters are an acronym for “shut the f*** up.”
We’re betting Dick Cheney had one of two reactions to this. Either he turned hugely indignant at someone slinging an insult his way and added Grayson to his list of people to murder in their sleep; or he cackled wildly — blood spittle spewing from his lips — knowing he finally found a worthy adversary…and added Grayson to his list of people to murder in their sleep.
After all, Grayson might be the first politician who actually speaks Cheney’s coarse brand of English. As you may recall, Cheney once told Sen. Patrick Lehey to “Go fuck [himself].” Now that’s pretty coarse, right? But it’s even more filthy when you realize he said it on the Senate floor. It’s even more filthy when you realize Leahy is a really old dude, and was beaten up by the Joker in “The Dark Knight.”
Anyway, we don’t actually condone any politicians calling other politicians names or telling them to “STFU.” Unless of course they’re 12-year-old girls and are texting each other, in which case, carry on.
Oh, but seriously, STFU, Dick Cheney, you cock.
