Ms. Palin has a whole slew of awards on her mantle already, including “Most prolific quitter,” “Least effective state executive,” “Dumbest publicity stunt,” and the annual “Wasila, Alaska, Rickets Telethon ‘Least Valuable Spokesperson.’” And now she can add the dubious honor of having told the lie of the year!
The real question is: How does she accomplish so much while being so incredibly vapid? That’s another question for another time, of course. Below is the CNN video explaining how the whole process works. Just wait until you get to the section in which Palin, despite being told all evidence to the contrary, defends her use of the phrase “death panels” and says she still believes they exist. We have to laugh because if we didn’t, we’d probably cry and maybe go on a “death panel spree.”
