Whether they crashed the White House or were invited, the Salahis’ new gig has to be something of a downer. From CNN’s Political Ticker:
President Obama’s most unexpected guests” are slated to headline a party at Caesar’s Palace nightclub on January 16, according to the event organizer’s Web site.
The pair are reportedly being paid $5,000 total for the appearance, according to the New York Post. A spokesman for the event could not be reached to confirm that number.
On one hand, $5000 is a good chunk of dough, especially in this economy. On the other hand, headlining Caesar’s is pretty lame. Of course, these are people who think going to the White House without being asked and then lying about it is a good idea, so it’s probably a win-win for them.
