It’s bad enough that you’ve likely convinced a bunch of dumb, fat white guys out there who want to fuck you that you’d make a good president. But seriously, just stop being a horrible, ignorant, intolerant, pandering former half-term governor.

There are times on this site when we think we shouldn’t call Sarah Palin names because, you know, we have employers and eventually we’ll want to get new jobs somewhere else or get fired and then need to find a new job and someday a future employer will look at this website and say, “This person’s nuts. We can’t hire someone who’s NUTS.” (BTW, that’s what the Fat American people should say at the polls in 2012 when Sarah Palin runs for president on the Teabagger ticket.)

But then we see Palin’s stupid Luke Wilson jaw and her dumb, smug face and we lose our minds. She can’t DO ANYTHING BUT INCITE FEAR AND HATRED.

And you know what? She’s not entirely stupid because she’s smart enough to know that “blood libel” is a code phrase to anti-Semites across this country. She’s smart enough to know that it’s a wink to people who hate, people who eat up her garbage, people who just can’t stand that a black man is president.

WHY, WHY, WHY DOES ANYONE LISTEN TO THIS FUCKING CHEERLEADER?

We’ll tell you why people (and we use the word “people” loosely) listen to her: Because most Americans still live in high school well past the age of 18.

“Blood libel.” Sweet Jesus. What an ASSHOLE. We want to give you the benefit of the doubt that you didn’t know what that meant, but you’re beyond being afforded that luxury. You pander to the least common denominator and when you casually pepper your speech with anti-Semitic dog whistles, everyone knows it was intentional.

So someone walked into an event that Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.) was holding outside a grocery store. Shot her in the head. Killed at least four people. Giffords is in surgery as of 3:39 p.m. ET.

This shit is confusing, but here’s the low down: John McCain had the balls to call someone not himself a huckster.

Granted, the one on the receiving end of the huckster taunt is JD Hayworth, who in addition to being a hate-filled, race-baiting motherfucker is also probably a huckster. He did a bunch (or maybe one, who the fuck cares?) of ads a couple years back promising “free information about ‘hundreds of billions of dollars in government funding’ to individuals who attend a conference on the topic,” which, by the way, sounds totally hucksterish.

BUT – and this is a big but – getting free money from the government is right up the political alley of a guy who claims to hate the government but wants to hold government office (meaning Hayworth).

As for McCain, his huckster status is unconfirmed. After all, he did give us Sarah Palin. And he claimed he never considered himself a maverick. And he stopped being sort of moderate and went way, way, way to the right. At least he’s not JD Hayworth.

I mean, look at Hayworth’s eerie, Satanic stare, his receding hairline and giant, flaring nostrils. How can you not trust him?

A Metrobus employee who punched an off-duty police officer dressed as McGruff the Crime Dog has been reinstated to his former position, according to the Washington Examiner.

And why not? If anyone ever needed to be slugged in the face (other than Sarah Palin and the girl who actually gets slugged in the face in this video), it’s McGruff.

Sure, some were also a rebuke of health care, and a vote against incumbency, but run down the list, and you’ll see race after race where Barack Obama was credited with a loss.

He’s the reason the Scott Brown defeated a wildly-unprepared and terrible candidate, Martha Coakley, in Massachusetts. He’s the reason that universally-disliked 30-year Sen. Arlen Specter (D?-Pa.) lost his Democratic primary race to an actual Democrat. Obama’s the reason Charles Djou won a Congressional district in Hawaii that is 70 percent Democrats; it had nothing to do with the fact that two viable Democrats were also running, and they split the vote, giving Djou a win with 39 percent of the electorate. It was all about Obama.

So let’s paint another picture. Imagine this: imagine a major political figure parachuted into a Congressional primary two months before the voting. Imagine that major figure sent his or her father and father-in-law ahead to campaign for the candidate. Imagine that he or she fundraised, and four days before the election, arrived in town for a rally at a 6,000-seat arena.

Now imagine that only 1,500-2,000 people actually showed up, even though tickets were $10-per person. It’s a story about former half-term Gov. Sarah Palin. When she stumped for Idaho Congressional candidate Vaugh Ward, she did it before a 1/3-full arena. By contrast, when Barack Obama visited Boise in February, 2008, 14,000 people showed up — 14,000 people in a state where he won just 36 percent of the vote on election day.

In her speech, Palin ripped Democrats, the president, the “lamestream media” (because she’s a child) and an endless list of bogeymen.

The left and some of the lamestream media, they can really play dirty sometimes, trust me on this one, I know this one,” Palin declared. “The things that they can do could be quite hurtful, so now more than ever Vaughn’s going to need your support.”

She said, “They see Vaughn as a threat. … They’re afraid of him because a vote for Vaughn is that vote to take the gavel away from the Obama-Pelosi-Reid agenda.”

An establishment favorite, Ward had a six-to-one money advantage over his primary opponent — a Puerto Rican! He also had a heavy TV presence, while his opponent only ran radio ads, and, again, he had the endorsement and direct support of Sarah Palin. So what happened?

Vaughn Ward got trounced, 48%-39%. It wasn’t even close. Sarah Palin couldn’t pull in people for an event, and she couldn’t get people to vote for the white guy in an Idaho Republican Congressional primary.

Yes, Vaughn Ward was a deeply flawed candidate — he plagiarized a speech by Barack Obama, thought Puerto Rico was a foreign country, and illegally appeared in uniform in one of his campaign ads — but he was also a Sarah Palin-favorite. When Barack Obama simply endorses a candidate who goes onto defeat, it was Obama’s fault. We’re still waiting to hear about Sarah Palin’s waning influence, waiting to hear an explanation of why her candidate lost, waiting for the lamestream media to finally start acting LAME.

Meh, apparently it is, and now Kernell is probably headed to the slammer. Palin put the whole situation in perspective on facebook, of course.

My family and I are thankful that the jury thoroughly and carefully weighed the evidence and issued a just verdict. Besides the obvious invasion of privacy and security concerns surrounding this issue, many of us are concerned about the integrity of our country’s political elections. America’s elections depend upon fair competition. Violating the law, or simply invading someone’s privacy for political gain, has long been repugnant to Americans’ sense of fair play. As Watergate taught us, we rightfully reject illegally breaking into candidates’ private communications for political intrigue in an attempt to derail an election.

Right, because no one knew that breaking into candidates’ communications was bad before Nixon. That said, is it fair to compare some stupid kid guessing a retard’s password hint to a break-in of Democratic Party headquarters that the President of the United States knew about? Of course not. But hey, shock of shocks, Sarah Palin has no perspective on life or history.

Let us not forget that she also has no perspective on legality. While yes, it was bad of a 20-year-old college student to figure out her easily-figured-out password, one thing that shouldn’t be forgotten is that because of that intrusion, we learned that Palin was using her personal email to illegally conduct government business. From Harper’s:

The Justice Department seems to be setting one of its amazing new rules. When a Republican political figure is damaged in her expectation of being elected to office, it is telling us, that’s a felony. And why is that the case here? Because the hacker helped establish something important: Sarah Palin has been systematically violating the Open Records Act. As David Corn has noted at Mother Jones, Palin relied heavily on private email accounts for improper purposes. As governor of Alaska, she was obligated to maintain as public records her communications with respect to her discharge of official duties. Palin skirted this obligation by turning to private email accounts for government related dealings. In fact, the hacker in question helped flush out Palin’s violations. The hacker also helped establish a motive for the illegal conduct: Palin regularly involved her husband in official business, and it’s easy to understand why she did not want to leave behind evidence of her husband’s involvement.

We also learned from Watergate that when government officials do illegal things, they’re usually punished. Sarah Palin is a famous rich celebrity now, though, so perhaps the rules just don’t apply to her. We’re still hoping they do.
